There are various nice walks from the mill, within 15 minutes you are at the cascade a beautiful waterfal with a pool where you can have a swim. From there you can continue up the hill to St Priest des Champs where you can have nice cold beer or a glass of wine in the local bar. The river Sioule is 15
minutes drive away, there are various nice view points like at
Chateau Rocher, an old 13th century castle, or at Queuille where you
can see the meandre of the Sioule. At the Fades
des Beserves (big lake) is one of the highest railway bridges in
Europe.

In
Chateauneuf les Bains, a spa resort, you can also visit a
mill
which still produces flour in the old fashioned way. Here you can also
find
Auvergne Adventure, they organise adventurious activities like kayaken
on the Sioule river.

Beautiful views from the Puy de Dome! You can drive to the top or walk up which takes about one hour and a half. Walk back down or parascend down!!
